Fiction Without a Fuss: How to Write a Scene

This link is some pretty basic stuff on scenes but it is something that we often forget. I come from a poetry background but scenes come pretty natural to me as a movie buff. It is still always tempting to forget the point of a scene. It’s so important to get the basics right. If you don’t it’s like building your novel on a foundation of wet sand. Stuff covered here include:

  1. How to write a scene.
  2. What defines a scene.
  3. What a scene should do.
  4. Creating a scene.
  5. Alternating scenes.
